 Across our province, we each generate approximately 2kg of waste every single day. That's far too much. To help tackle our waste problem, MMSB has challenged everyone in Newfoundland and Labrador to Get to Half! With simple habits and a change in the way we think about waste, we can all cut the amount of waste we generate in half.
In schools, workplaces and in the home, MMSB is giving people province-wide the information to reduce their waste through the Get to Half campaign. Whether through composting, recycling, reusing or reducing the waste we make in the first place, Getting to Half is a mindset that we need to share if we are to protect our province for future generations.
